Basic properties of zinc alloy ZAMAK 2
Zinc alloy ZAMAK 2 is of standard commercial grade. Chemical composition of the ZAMAK is in conformity with EN1774 and certified by the producer. Representative chemical composition: 4 % Al, 2,8 % Cu, 0,04 % Mg; inpurity volume - < 0,02 % Fe, < 0,003 % Pb, < 0,003 % Cd, < 0,001 % Sn; remainder Zn.
Specification : heavy non-ferous metal, corrosion-proof in light acid and base medium, easily machined, polished, with cast iron material property.
